Dates for your diary

As part of the blog we thought you might like to know about up and coming craft shows, so here is our first one, should you fancy travelling down to Birmingham.    I have been to this show several times, and yes, since I moved to Pocklington I've been.  It's a great show with all sorts of crafts on offer.

NEC Birmingham

4th - 7th November 2010

As the UK’s largest Creative Crafts Event, the popular Hobbycrafts show brings together celebrities of TV and print, together with craft enthusiasts both young and old alike. Show visitors can share what has become THE show for inspiration, education, hands-on features and an unrivalled choice of supplies and can enjoy the diverse creativity on show from creative craft artists, guilds and demonstrators.
There will be plenty of new product launches alongside the traditional well-loved brands. Children’s craft kits, pixel art, papercraft supplies, candlemaking, craft holidays, glasscraft, lampwork kits, home décor, jewellery-making and much more besides.

Do you like to make your own Christmas cards or presents? If you do, then this show is definitely for you! Not only will you be saving money by making gifts and treats yourself, you will be giving a truly personalised present.

Tickets to this show also allow entrance to Art Materials Live and Crafts for Christmas.
